In a world where lying is a criminal offence, (a boy faced 5 years in jail for telling a lie that protected his brother) Laszlo, an officer who can sense when people aren’t telling the truth uses his abilities to uncover the mystery of a death of a construction worker. This novel is fast paced and exciting and I would recommend that you give it a read! It almost gives off “1984” vibes, everything you ever do is recorded, so if you’re into that sort of book you’ll love this! It’s also very thought provoking- is there such a thing as absolute truth?
It comes out in January, but you can pre-order!
